Srinagar August 02: (KNS) Chairman Jamaat Aitqaad International, Kashmir Society International, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah has requested the administration to provide alternate jobs to people who have been rendered jobless after work on Stone Quarries has been stopped. Before taking a step on Stone Quarries, the hills of Veerinag where illegal heavy machines have been used for the last 30 years since 1990 to excavate precious Limestones to feed illegally private cement factories, the use of such heavy machines should have been stopped which provides benefit to few corporates. According to previous mine rules deployment of machines for excavation of limestones was not allowed. Similarly, blue sapphire worth Thousands of crores were excavated from Pancham Sufi mountains of Paddar Kishtwar during previous regimes, and one Shri Choksi was allowed to operate from Udhampur, who was a close associate of fugitive of sapphire mafia and defaultor of JK bank as well as Punjab National Bank during that period. His presence in J&K Start particularly close to Paddar Kishtwar mountain during previous regimes was intended to engineer smuggling of precious blue sapphire and treasure deposited inside caves from the time of Simha Deva King of Kashmir who fled along with blue sapphire treasure from Kashmir to Kishtwar Paddar in 1319/1320Ad. How these blue sapphire treasures were excavated during the last thirty years and who arranged fake Auctions to legalize smuggling of blue sapphire to world Auctions where few gram sapphires of Kashmir Paddar mountains was sold for 32 crores. Records are available. It is hoped that while dealing with mine sectors after mining was Nationalized in Kashmir all previous affairs will be fully brought into to public domain. However serious steps are required to be taken to rehabilitate daily wage labourers. The esteemed Nigraan Jamaat Aitqaad International at Tujar Sharief, Jenab Mohammad Sultan Makhdoomi, and media personality Jamaat Aitqaad International Tujar Sharief have informed that around 30k labourers of Aitqaad who had this stone quarries as a source of livelihood need to be given alternate jobs. It is appealed that under NREGA special job cards be issued to these 30k labourers who would earn their livelihood by working hard under the spiritual blessing of Sufi Awaliya Karams may be issued special job cards under NREGA to get their monthly wages. In Kashmir, these job cards have mostly been given to political workers as vote banks. Now, these NREGA job cards may be given to genuine persons who lost their jobs after minings and stone quarries have been closed under new notifications. We appreciate concern to protect mine treasures of Kashmir but at the same time, we request application of issuance of NREGA job cards to all of them for earning monthly wages.
