Srinagar, Oct 13 (KNS): Senior CPI (M) leader and Former MLA Kulgam Mohammed Yousuf Tarigami on today welcomed the release of PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti and hoped all the leaders who were detained on Aug 4 last will be released.

According to KNS Tarigami said, she should have been released earlier and one fail to understand why she was kept in detention for more than year.

He also demanded release of all the leaders, activists, Trades and others who were detained ahead of abrogation of Article 370 last year.

He further said releasing Mehbooba Mufti is a welcome setup but authorities should also release all the detainees in coming days (KNS)
