Srinagar, May 18 (KNS): PDP leader from Chadoora, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat on Monday has appealed the Central and UT administration to release political leaders ahead of Eid.
Speaking to KNS over phone Yaseen Bhat said " As the festival of Eid Ul Fitr is coming close, I appeal Central and UT administration to release our party leaders including President Mehbooba Mufti and other political detainees before Eid, so they can also celebrate it with their family members". It is second time this month when Yaseen Bhat demanded the release of political leaders.
Leader also welcomed the extension of lockdown by the centre, but urged the government to provide relief to poor families, so they cannot be hungry during the ongoing lockdown.(KNS)
