Srinagar, Dec 05 (KNS): Senior NC leader and sitting Parliamentarian Justice (Retd.) Hasnain Masoodi Saturday said that all regional mainstream parties are on the same page over the decisions taken by Modi led BJP government last year when it scrapped the semi-autonomous status of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370.

Masoodi, according to KNS was speaking on the sidelines of a birth anniversary of NC founder Late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah in Naseem Bagh Srinagar. He said that all regional mainstream political parties stand united against the decisions taken by New Delhi on August 5, 2019.

He said, "All regional political parties are on the same page and believe the abrogation of Article 370 by BJP last year was illegal and unconstitutional move", and added that people of Jammu and Kashmir will give befitting reply to New Delhi in ongoing DDC polls.

To a query over Article 370, the sitting Parliamentarian said though it (Article 370) was temporary but there is a ruling by Supreme Court that mentioned "With the passage of time the Article 370 became permanent and impossibe to reverse". (KNS)
