Srinagar,Apr 15 (KNS): Several political leaders on Wednesday alleged that authorities after their release have kept them in those quaratine centres having no basic medical and logistic facilities.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), severa political leaders who were released from Ambardkernagar UP jail days back alleged that they had been kept under quarantine where no basic facilities are being provided to them. The quaratined political leaders including Mir Hafizullah, Pir Majeed and several others have demanded to facilitate their return to Valley.

They said that they have completed all formalities but still have been put in another quarantine turned jail.

They appealed authorities to facilitate their return to Valley without any delay. Meanwhile Member of Parliament Fayaz Ahmad Mir had also demanded their evacuation at an earliest.

Pertinently authorities of Jammu and Kashmir have started to release detainees in wake of Covid-19 pandemic to contain spread of Covid-19 pandemic in prisons. (KNS)
