Rajeshwer Singh demands revocation of SRO 202


Srinagar, May 28 (KNS): Rajeshwer singh vice president of jammu province Youth National conference today said that SRO 202 should be revoked, before any new recruitments and no employee who are recruited under SRO 24 should be dismissed.
A statement issued to KNS reads, Rajeshwer said,SRO 202 has had profound effect on the employees appointed under the provision, the five-year period is frustrating and demotivating for the employees and job seeking unemployed educated youth. This does not only render the appointees stagnant with minimum pay scale, he said, SRO 202 does not stand for equality.
There should be no hesitation, in giving justice to the suffering employees especially after recommendations by the law commission headed by Justice MK Hanjura last year for reduction of probation from five to two years.Singh said he hope that call on ending SRO 202 will be soon taken, ending the long injustice to thousands of young employees and establishing equal pay for equal work.
Rajeshwer said that their is also prevailing issue of injustice with the employees who were recruited under SRO 24 ,many of whom are also para medical staff and are also playing a important role in this pandemic , singh said is this the way to appreciate their work , already there is shortage in medical department in jammu and Kashmir and by terminating these employees they will create more difficulties , singh said that medical department should focus on how to fight with covid19 and they should recruit more staff and focus on buying the medical equipment. Singh further said that government should not play with the future of young employees , immediate action should be taken and all termination orders should be taken back. (KNS)
