Kupwara  02 sep (KNS) : Residents of Badbug village of Qaziabad  in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on today  held a protest demonstration against R&B department for allegedly using sub standard material on the construction of Budbug road.

The residents alleged that the department is using substandard material on the constriction of road and have stopped the further construction.  

According to the residents the road has not been macadamized since long and the results the locals of the area are suffering.

 A resident of Badbug told  KNS that the vehicle owners deny to ply their villages on the damaged road and are saying their vehicles are getting damaged due tobad road connectivity.

 Abdul Ahad a resident of Badbug told KNS that the students and patients of the area are facing difficulties to reach schools and hospitals on time due to dilapidated condition of road.

Another resident of the area told they have informed the concern officials several times but their plea has failed to get their due attention.(KNS)
