Puneesh gets first ‘Late prof Kuldeep Singh jandrahia’ memorial award

Jammu, August 18 (KNS): In a very simple but an impressive function, the members of the roller athlete skating club, Jindrah, awarded Late prof. Kuldeep Singh jandrahia memorial award (2019-20)and cash prize of Rupees 5001 to the youngest skater Puneesh puri for his excellent performance during the year 2019. The chief guest on the occasion was Vidhi Singh Jamwal (chief patron of the club).

He appreciated the performance of the master Puneesh puri at the national level and bringing laurels for the Jammu and Kashmir.

He further said that the motive of the club is to find the talent at the grass root level and this time it's a great honour for the club to honour the young skater and we have a great hopes from him. Moreover, its a first time in the history of roller skating in Jammu and Kashmir that such type of award has been started and it will definitely boost the morale of the skaters.

Puneesh Puri won 1 gold and 1 silver medals at RSFI Nationals at Vizag , C.B.S.E. Northzone 2 Gold medals , C.B.S.E. Nationals at Belgaum 1 Bronze medal, 1st R.S.F.I National ranking championship at Noida 2 silver and 1 bronze medals, 1st All India Skating championship (R.S.F.I), 2 Gold and 1 bronze medals.
