Govt on daily basis takes decisions aimed at disempowering people of JK: Vakil

Srinagar 20 July (KNS): Peoples Conference senior vice president and former minister Abdul Gani Vakil today Said that amid the din of Pandemic, the UT administration is busy on daily basis eroding JKs administrative system and divesting all its historical and geographical identity almost on daily basis.
In a statement issued to KNS reads, Planning to Privatize power sector and recently orders issued closing down PSUs of erstwhile state are Such decisions which should be left to popular govt not the selected bunch of Bureaucrats running the affairs in the state but it is unfortunate and astonishing that the present UT Govt is focusing more attention that too on priority in eroding JKs administrative system rather than to fight pandemic covid 19 which had virtually made the people sleepless. There is no idea what this unelected government is upto. These anti-people and anti JK moves are done by the non-elected government far from the public glare, when people are gripped in Pandemic, Vakil said.

"The political leadership has been restricted to their houses and every day new orders and amendments are made that have created a fear psychosis among people of Jammu and Kashmir. By privatising power sector, closing down PSUs what will happen to the people working in these departments. Not a single person has been employed by this govt in the last one year. Instead of employment people are forced to unemployment," Vakil said.

Vakil cautioned the govt not to issue such orders which are aimed to create a wedge between the people of JK and rest of the country. Such orders will only help our enemy who is bent upon to destabilise JK and is making every action which is aimed at distancing the people of J&K from the main stream. People are already aghast at the Aug 5 decision; there seems a hidden agenda which is being carried out gradually.

The former Minister asserted on New Delhi to review it's Kashmir policy otherwise all these decisions will have long term consequences.
Delhi has left the unionists leaders red faced and humiliated. We have been rendered helpless while non locals sit across a table and decide the fate and destiny of the inhabitants of J and K”, he added. (KNS)
