Anantnag, Dec 17 (KNS): Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson and former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain Shah Thursday said that once District Development Council (DDC) polls are over, the Anantnag district will get its separate Press Club.
While replying to a query by President Anantnag Working Journalist Association Tasaduq Rashid, the BJP leader said that once DDC polls are over; the district will get its separate Press Club.
“Presently we are engaged in DDC polls and once it is over, the Anantnag journalist body will get a well established press club”, BJP leader said.
He added the club will be built for journalists of concerned district so that they will perform their professional work smoothly.
“The demand has already been reached to me and I assure you once DDC polls are over, the world’s largest political party’s spokesperson will be here to inaugurate the building”, Shahnawaz said.
Notably the BJP leader was talking to reporters on the sidelines of party conclave in Bijbehara Anantnag. (KNS)
