Srinagar September 1:(KNS) Three prominent socio-political activists including Zahoor Ahmad Ganaie, president OBC association of district Ganderbal on Tuesday joined Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP).

Ganaie joined the party along with his two senior associates Tariq Ahmad Bhat from Chowkoo-Tulmulla-Ganderbal and Mohammad Rafiq Ganaie from Larsun-Bartulla-Ganderbal.

The joining took place at the party office at The Bund in Srinagar in presence of JKAP provincial president Mohammad Ashraf Mir, JKAP leaders--Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Muntazir Mohi-ud-Din and Farooq Andrabi.
Speaking on the occasion, the new entrants to JKAP observed that they joined the party after being convinced by its agenda and the contribution of the Party leadership in the overall development of J&K.

Welcoming them into the party fold, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, the JKAP Provincial President Kashmir province said that JKAP is a performance based political platform which wants to address the unfortunate situation of political uncertainty and developmental deficit in J&K.

Our politics is based on achievable goals and we are not here to sell dreams to the people. People of Kashmir are politically mature and they should differentiate between dreams and realities. I appeal the people to judge us by our performance and join our movement to bring an effective change on the ground,” Mir remarked.

He hoped that with the joining of the prominent political activists, the party base will get further strengthened in the Ganderbal district and its adjoining areas in coming days. (KNS)
