Srinagar:22 April (KNS) Senior Trade Union Leader, President EJAC Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam has strongly condemned the incident in which the PET teacher has been beaten by police officials and also FIR has been registered against him in Uri.
According to .statement issued to KNS, He expressed his deep concern regarding the matter and said that such incidents are of grave nature and stern action should be taken against the guilty police officials. He said this incident shows the highhandedness of the police in which the teacher is not only beaten but also FIR is filed against him just for highlighting the issue.He also added that the teacher was just following the orders of his seniors and was on his way to the training program regarding covid 19 and was not just wandering around. Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam emphasized that such incidents demoralise the employees fraternity on the whole, who at this crucial time of pandemic are at the forefront fighting the war against covid 19.

He urged the higher authorities to enquire into the matter and punish the guilty officials.(KNS)
