Baramulla, October 14:(KNS) Inhabitants of Kanli Bagh of Baramulla district in north Kashmir have expressed resentment against sub-standard macadamization The residents alleged that macadamization of the road near Abu Bakr Masjid of the Kanli bagh 1 km away from the main town of Baramulla was not carried properly by the concerned R&B Department.
The locals alleged that the macdamization was carried in night hours that too with out following proper measures of macdamization. The macdam has been surfaced over the road without cleaning the dust from road and because of it the macadamize will not last for longer.
“They said that the material was laid on the grass and the department flouted all the rules required for the macadamization. The locals further said after one month the material will lose its grip and one can easily peel it off.
Supritendent Enigneer, when contacted said: “In order to ascertain facts, I am sending a team there and if any negligence on the part of the concerned department comes forward action will be taken.”(KNS)
