Srinagar, July 20 (KNS): Students of Polytechnic College Srinagar on Monday appealed authorities to promote them to next semesters without conducting exams in wake of Covid-19 pandemic situation.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a delegation of students studying in Polytechnic College Gogji-Bagh Srinagar impressed upon higher authorities to promote them to next semesters without taking exams.
They said at a time when Kashmir University had decided to promote students of different streams to next semesters without asking them to appear in examination, how come authorities of Polytechnic College Gojgi-Bagh can go to contrary.
“Technical Board has taken a decision of conducting our exams but how come it is possible when students lack study material. Besides we also couldn’t avail the benefit of online classes through Zoom Cloud App due to low internet speed in Valley”, students said.
They appealed authorities to follow Kashmir University and promote students to next semesters without conduct of exams. (KNS)
