Anantnag, Sep 22 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have cracked a theft case and recovered stolen gold worth lakhs.
According to statement issued to KNS reads, On 14-09-2020 , a written application was received by PP Shearbagh from a complainant residing in Dialgam that some gold items had been stolen by some unknown persons at Mattan Chowk.
it further reads, In this regard case FIR No 302/2020 u/s 380 was registered at PP Shearbagh . Police Anantnag swiftly swung into action upon this information and initiated thorough investigation into the matter and recovered stolen gold worth lacs from one accused lady from TB Shah (name withheld). The locals of the area have hailed the swift action and professional approach manifested by Police Anantnag in solving this case. (KNS)
