Police public meeting held at Kamalkote Uri

Baramulla, June 06 (KNS): A police public meeting was held at police post Kamalkote Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday,Precautions Viz a viz proper social distancing and wearing of masks  were taken.
According to police statement issued to KNS, the meeting was attended by respectable citizens of the area, besides BDC chairperson, Sarpanches , Panchs and other representatives of the area. A gathering of 10-20 people was addressed , their cooperation was sort regarding the restrictions imposed in view of covid 19 , controlling the exorbitant hike in prices of essentials, in curbing social vices/crimes epically drug trade etc .
The meeting was chaired by SDPO Uri Junaid Wali, SHO Mohammed Ashraf and I/C PP Kamalkote were also present. The issues brought up by the public were heard by SDPO and SHO Uri and they were assured of redressal of problems directly associated with Police , cooperation and help Viz a viz other issues like construction of community bunkers, repair of road stretches, facilitation of mobile communication etc., the statement said (KNS)
