PHD Chamber thanks LG, J&K Bank for announcing Bussiness Support Loan Scheme for Hotels, Guest Houses


Srinagar, Dec 10 (KNS): The PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Thursday appreciated and thanked Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, the Economic Revival Committee, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta and Jammu & Kashmir Bank Chairman and Executive Director and management for launching Bussiness Support Loan Scheme for Hotels and Guest Houses of J&K.

In a statement to KNS, the Mentor PHDCCI Kashmir and Chairman JK Hoteliers Club, Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya and Chairman Baldev Singh Raina said that the government does this keeping in view that the coronavirus pandemic has severely impacted the hospitality and tourism sectors.

Baldev and Chaya on behalf of tourism faternity expressed gratitude to the government for its support. He said, “We also would like to express our thanks to the finance department, especially the J&K bank and His Excellency Lieutenant Governor for listening and addressing our issues appropriately and most importantly J&K Bank Chairman and his team which has constantly taken forward our concerns at the all the levels of the government.

Chaya added that this is a highly stressed time for the Tourism Industry. But we are confident that our concerns will be addressed by the government and they will be able to prioritize relief for the Lease extension and other issues that tourism sector is struggling with . We are thankful to the tourism fraternity and other associations and all the industries that have stood together in this darkest moment of tourism and further stated that J&K Bank Branch Managers needs to help and guide the borrowers to avail the facilities in these schemes and we request Hoteliers and Guest House owners to avail this customized scheme and get benefited as per the requirements.
