Baramulla, May 15 (KNS): Primary Health Centre (PHC) building in famous ski resort Gulmarg is unsafe and can collapse any time, locals said.

According to reports the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Gulmarg which hd been constructed few years back is unsafe and will collapse any time, as cracks across the walls of building are visible which poses a great threat to incoming visiting patients and health staff. The residents of the area said that the concern department has abandoned the vital health centre building completely.

Locals told KNS that Gulmarg is a famous destination and in harsh winters the chances of avalanches, cloudbursts or other natural disaster's are common here and the area if health facilities are not properly maintained then the lives of humans can't be saved. They appealed Lieutenant Governor led administration and officials of Health Department that due to damaged PHC building, there is a need to construct new medical facility immdiately in the area so that any mishap could be averted.
