People’s Alliance on Gupkar Declaration frustrates BJP: Khalida Shah

Srinagar, Oct 19 (KNS): Awami National Conference (ANC) President Begum Khalida Shah Monday strongly condemned the summoning of Dr Farooq Abdullah by Enforcement Directorate and said People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration has frustrated BJP Government.
According to a statement issued to KNS, Begum Khalida Shah alleged that BJP is trying to dominate J&K political parties forcibly who have initiated a collective fight for restoration of Article 370 and 35(A). “There is no question to get dominated or influenced under the pressure mounted by BJP in shape of employing their agencies. We have avowed to bring back the rights snatched by New Delhi on August 5, 2019 illegally, undemocratically and forcibly”, Khalida said.
“The resolve of political leaders of J&K can’t be weakened by jailing or summoning them. We have seen such tactics in past as well. We will go ahead for our rights and never succumb before the pressure”, she said.
ANC chief said that the alliance for restoration of Article 370 has frustrated BJP and it is why it has resorted to political vengeance.
“Our joint effort of constituting an alliance for restoration of rights frustrated BJP government who after scrapping of Article 370 used repressive measures for silencing the people’s voice. It has become a routine of BJP whenever it came into power, it used the policy of political vendetta to stop those who uses to talk for people’s rights but such tactics will not work forever”, Khalida Shah said.
