Kupwara, Jan 23(KNS): Resident of various aread of Kupwara district on Sunday complained that they are facing  difficulties to get their "Golden Cards" as they are being asked to get signatures from various  offices.

A group of residents from Mawer area of Handwara  told "Kashmir News Service" that they are yet to avil the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Yojana Golden Card as they are  being  forced to visit  each and every office.

They said that it is taking long process and still they fail to understand  what to do to get the Golden Cards.

Hilal Ahmad a resident of Mawer Handwara  said he is visiting the concern offices since past 10 days to get the signature from  the concerned officials but he has failed sofar to get the signature of all the officers.

He also said that the Tehsildar office is at Langate and BDO office is at Qalamabad while as other officers are different places and the result the people are facing hardships.

The people of Kupwara  district have urged  authorities to conduct  the village vise survey and provide  them the Golden Carden.

They said that people who are processing to the Cards are maximum labourers and they are dependent on their  daily labourer.

Spending  a week and more time to avail the scheme they are loosing a week labour.

They have urged the authorities  to conduct  the survey so that people will not face the problems to avail the benefits.

Those  who got their  names in the 2011 census list also complained that their names has not been mentioned properly.

State Manager Ayushman Bharat Yojana Golden Card Dr Khursheed Ahmad Khan told KNS that the process which had asked to fill is mandatory and there is no shortcuts for it.

He further  said that those whose names has  been wrongly  mentioned  the names can be rectified.(KNS)
