Srinagar, March 22: (KNS)  The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has nominated Mrs Surjit Kour as the Vice President & Mrs Zahida Sabir as the General Secretary of the party’s women’s wing.

The party president has also nominated district presidents for various districts of the Kashmir valley.

In a statement issued to KNS, a party spokesman said that the party’s state secretary Abdul Hameed Kosheen has been given additional charge of the district president Srinagar.

“Advocate Sheikh Javed has been nominated as the district president Anantnag, Bari Andrabi as district president Pulwama, Aijaz Ahmad Mir as district president Shopian, Bashir Ahmad Mir as district president Ganderbal, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat as  district president Budgam, Jalal ud Din Shah as  district president Baramulla, Mohammad Afzal Wani as   district president Kupwara and G N Tantray as  district president Bandipora,” the spokesman added.(KNS0
