Thursday 03 dec various senior leaders of People's Democratic Party (PDP) including Gh. Nabi lone Hanjura (General Secretary PDP) , Khurshid Alam (District President PDP, Srinagar) and Arif Lagizo (General Secretary PDP youth wing visited M.P Muhammad Fayaz Mir's house and expressed deep condolence on his father's death, Haji Muhammad Sabir Mir.

Echoing the sentiments, Gh. Nabi lone Hanjura said , ' I'm saddened , he was a noble soul and a visionary person.

While expressing grief over the demise of Late Haji Muhammad Sabir Mir, Khurshid Alam said , 'the news has deeply saddened me and his loss gas created a void, which will not be easy to fill for so many years.

Arif Lagioroo expressed sympathies with the bereaved family, and followers of his, I share their grief and pray for fortitude to them in these trying times. I pray to Almighty to bestow the highest echelons to him in Jannat, he said.

The leaders while paying homage said that his contribution towards social emancipation of people of Kupwara, will be remembered for all the times to come. On the occasion the participants paid homage to Late Muhammad Sabir Mir, expressed unison with the bereaved family and peace to the departed soul (KNS).
