Baramulla, June 01 (KNS):Casual labourers on Power Development Department (PDD) on Monday staged protests at sub division in Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district and where demanding release of pending wages .
According to KNS correspondent scores of casual labourers of PDD department assembled in the premises of PDD sub division Tangmarg and were raising slogans against the authorities.
Talking to Kashmir News Service the protesting employees said that they are without salaries form last couple of months leaving them to suffer, they said that the official of the concern department have hold their salaries with held deliberately .
They said nearly 286 casual labourers in sub divisions have been deprived of their wages forcing them to stage a protest .
They have demanded release of their pending wages at the earliest (KNS)
