Srinagar, Apr 14 (KNS): People’s Conference (PC) senior leader Mohammad Suleiman Bhat Tuesday condemned the civilian killings in Chowkibal area of Kupwara district and expressed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family who lost their dear family members in recent LoC skirmishes.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Bhat said it is very unfortunate that India and Pakistan are exchanging artillery against each other at a time when whole world is battling for its survival against Covid-19. He said due to lockdown people are already facing acute hardships and are searching for bread but the residents of frontier district of Kupwara are receiving bullets instead of heal.
Bhat expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of innocent civilians and paid sympathy with bereaved. He appealed administration to provide immediate relief to the families whose shelters got damaged due to shelling. (KNS)
