Srinagar,  August 07:(KNS)   The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Senior leader and Former MLC Alhaj Sheikh Ghulam Qadir Pardesi on  Tuesday paid glowing tributes to Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah on his 39th death anniversary.
While paying tributes to Sher-e-Kashmir Pardesi said, “Sher-e-Kashmir had become a legendary figure in his own life time and it cannot be  gainsaid that he was a central figure in Kashmir politics for more six decades. He played an outstanding role in spreading political awakening 
among the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Admired for his roar as well as for his lifelong commitment to Jammu and Kashmir, and its people, he  fought a long and grim battle for the alleviation of the suffering of the people of JK. On his death anniversary, I pay my humble tributes to this  tallest figure of Kashmir politics and the father of political awakening in JK. May almighty Allah elevate his stations in Jannat,” he said.(KNS)
