Srinagar, 31 july (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Senior leader, and Former MLC Sheikh Ghulam Qadir Pardesi on Friday greeted people on the eve of Eid Al Adha, praying for everlasting peace and property to J&k.
While greeting the people Pardesi said, " We are observing the festival at a time when humanity is battling its biggest ever health crisis. Scores of lives were devoured by the viral sprawl and lacks of others contaminated, my thoughts and prayers are with those in hospitals struggling with the ailment. I pray for their recuperation.
This Eid we should ensure that those at end in our localities are taken care of by, and helped. The situation demands that the festival be observed with happiness. The day of Eid Al Adha underscores the value of self sacrifice. I hope people will rise up to the occasion and live up to the philosophy of Eid Al Adha, and lend helping hand to have-nots in our society. I am joined by my family in extending warm wishes to people on the auspicious eve. I pray the day augers well for J&k." (KNS)
