Painting Exhibition held at "Shehr-e-khaas Baramulla"

Baramulla, July 04 (KNS): A painting exhibition was held on Saturday in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

"Lets Reach", a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) conducted a Painting Exhibition on the bank of river Jhelum in Baramulla Town. Chairman of the NGO Abid Salam while talking to KNS said that the main motive of this event was to reduce the psychological pressure on youngsters which has casted its shadow particularly during lockdown.

At the occasion, several paintings were displayed by renowned artist from Kashmir including Sheikh Zameer of Old Town Baramulla. These paintings were comprising the nature and Covid-19 pandemic trauma.

An online session to teach the basics of painting was also part of this event. Many dignitaries were also part in the program including renowned artist Sheikh Zameer, Ashraf Nagoo, social activist Shafi Pakeeza, Muzafar Nabi, Ovais Akhoon, Dr Sadat and Sheikh Amir.

Meanwhile, people from cross section of society hailed the efforts of  the NGO. (KNS)
