Omar Abdullah condoles demise of Ghulam Qadir Sheikh

Srinagar, 30 July (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Mr. Omar Abdullah on Thursday expressed grief over the demise of Vice Block president Ratsuna Beerwah Ghulam Qadir Sheikh.
In his condolence message, the party vice president prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear the inconsolable loss. He prayed for the highest echelons to departed in Jannah.
“Qadir Sahib’s demise has created a void in the socio-political landscape of Beerwah. He will be remembered for his people friendly, pious and humane disposition. He was an astute political worker and above all a thorough gentleman. I pay my homage to him. May Almighty grant him highest stations in Jannah, I pray for strength to the bereaved family, may they have the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he said.
Among others Party’s central Zone President Ali Muhammad Dar, Dr. Mohd Shafi, Prof Abdul Majeed Matoo, Abdul Ahad Dar have also expressed grief over the demise of Khawaja Ghulam Qadir Sahib, prayed for peace to soul, and strength to the bereaved family to bear the inconsolable loss.(KNS)
