Handwara December 10:(KNS) A Five day First Aid Training workshop under Aarogya Sevika organized by Nowgam Biergade to create awareness among general masses about first aid emergency.

The camp was conducted n the interest of the general public living in the remote area opf Nowgam and in service to the health of the people of Naugam, a training session for the ladies in the basic first aid, was conducted under Aarogya Sevika.
The programme is to be carried for a period of 5 days having started on Thursday, 10 Dec under the aegis of Dr. Parvaiza Mir. A total of 6 ladies from 6 villages of Mawer Valley attended the classes.
At the conclusion, the ladies will be given comprehensive basic first aid kits for aiding in their endeavors to serve the ones in need in case of emergency or as part of first response.(KNS)
