Non-Local Tailor Dies of Covid-19 In Srinagar, Toll 41


Srinagar, June 07, (KNS): A swab sample of a non-local tailor from Koltata turned out to be positive a day after he died of “brain haemorrhage” in SHMS hospital.
Official sources said that the tailor had died of “brain haemorrhage” at SMHS hospital on Saturday after which his nasopharyngeal swab sample was taken for Covid-19 investigation.
The body of a tailor who hailed from Kolkata was kept into the mortuary to ensure the handover of body to his relatives, officials said.
“His test came out to be positive today,” Medical Superintend SMHS hospital confirmed.
As per reports the 38-year-old was working as a tailor in Sarai Payeen  area of Lal Chowk
Srinagar.
Meanwhile with the latest fatality, the death toll due to the virus across J&K has touched the mark of 41.

Medical Superintendent  SMSH Dr Nazir Ahmad Choudary  confirmed the death of a non local to KNS and said that the he had died of Brain hemmerage and later was tested postive for the COVID 19 (KNS)
