No facilities available at Quarantine centres: Rajeshwer singh


Srinagar, May 22 (KNS): Rajeshwer singh, vice president jammu province Youth National Conference on Friday,said that the administration is not taking care of the people who are in quarantine center and there is little to no facility for the people in quarantine centers , the administration should maintain the quarantine centers properly ,many centers in jammu are running over capacity which is very dangerous

In a statement issued to KNS ,he said god forbid if even one person is covid 19 positive then it can infect several because there is very little social distancing and this causes anxiety in the quarantined people, as was evident in a video which recently went public where many quarantined in MA stadium complained of over 100 people being present in the center when the capacity is only around 50,this is a huge risk for quarantined people who are healthy and might get infected due to negligence. Singh also said that some of nodal officers are not cooperating with people and their behaviour towards public is very rude which is not helpful during this difficult time , they must cooperate with people . Singh further said he knows that administration is making efforts to stop this pandemic in Jammu and Kashmir but they must take strict action against some of those officers who are not doing their job properly and exhibiting rude and unhelpful behaviour towards the people .Singh also requested the general public to follow proper social distancing and minimize their time spent in public places, and also to make sure to wear a mask to fight this pandemic.
