Uri, July 22 (KNS): NHPC on Wednesday handed over medicines worth one lakh rupees to SDM Uri free of cost for several panchayat halqas.

According to reports, medicines worth around 1.0 lakhs was handed over to Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Uri Reyaz Ahmad Malik by NHPC HEP-1 for free of cost distribution among poor and needy.

The said medicines to be distributed in Panchayat halqas including Kamal kot, Bandi Saraie, Kundi Barjala and Shahadra, Sultandaki. Besides Cheif General Manager (CGM) NHPC Omar Khalid, BMO Uri, MO PHC Sultandaki and all concerned Sarpanchs of Bandi, Sarie and Kamal kot were present at the ocassion. (KNS)
