A commemorative meet held at party headquarters, participants pay tributes to late leader



Srinagar, 08 July (KNS): Party’s Kulgam district body and YNC functionaries on Wednesday offered floral tributes and Fatiha at the final resting place of Party leader and Former MLA kulgam Advocate Ghulam Nabi Dar at Chawalgam in Kulgam on his 14th death anniversary.
The gathering was kept simple keeping in view the prevailing COVID-19 health advisories and protocol. Party’s provincial spokesperson and in charge constituency Kulgam Imran Nabi Dar led the party functionaries, workers in paying floral tributes to the late leader. On the occasion party’s spokesperson also paid glowing tributes to M Yusuf Shah, M Yusuf Wani, Ali Zargar, and Azad Wani, who had also attained martyrdom on the same day in the ill-fated and heart wrenching grenade blast in which Advocate Ghulam Nabi Dar had died. People who had thronged the graveyard from different parts of the constituency offered Qalimat for the martyrs and prayed for repose to their souls.
Meanwhile a commemorative meet was held at party headquarters Nawa- e- Subha in Srinagar, where Party’s Provincial Secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir led the party functionaries in paying glowing tributes to the late leader. The participants highlighted the role played by late Dar sahib towards the socio-political emancipation of the people in Kulgam. On the occasion Mir G M Saqi led the Fatiha prayers for the late leader. Among others Party’s district president Srinagar Peer Afaq Ahmed, YNC VP Kashmir Ahsan Pardesi, Syed Tauqeer Ahmed, G N Bhat were also present. (KNS)
