Srinagar, 14 August:(KNS) Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Friday expressed deep anguish and sorrow over the killing of two cops in an attack in Nowgam locality in the outskirts of Srinagar, saying violence in all its forms is unacceptable and inhuman.

While condemning the act of violence that resulted in killing of two cops the party spokesperson said that Violence in all its forms is despicable and has no scope in the contemporary world, it only leaves behind the account of inevitable loss and prolonged grief.

“I express solidarity with the kith and kin of the slain cops Ishfaq Ayob and Fayaz Ahmed who lost their lives in the gun fight. I pray for eternal repose to the deceased and fortitude to the bereaved families. The attack has left many injured as well, I also pray for speedy recovery to them. The slain cops are in our thoughts and prayers. Violence doesn’t provide a solution to any problem, it only leaves behind a trail of destruction and pain,” he said.(KNS)
