Srinagar, July 02 :(KNS) Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Thursday expressed grief over the demise of noted Zoology Professor Hamida Mukhtiyar of Rawalpura. The deceased was the aunt of party's women’s wing provincial president Er. Sabiya Qadri.

While condoling with the bereaved family in particular Er. Sabiya Qadri, Party’s Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani prayed for peace to departed and much needed strength to the grief stricken family. “The deceased was known for her scholarly pursuits and was an erudite personality. Her contribution to the field of academics shall be remembered for all times to come. I express my solidarity with the mournful family and in particular with Er. Sabiya Qadri Sahiba in their hour of grief. May Almighty bestow the deceased with highest echelons in Jannah,” he said.

Among others state president women’s wing Shameema Firdous, Provincial vice President Mohammad Syed Akhoon, Showkat Mir, Imran Nabi Dar, Peer Afaq have also expressed condolences with Sabiya Qadri. Amira Kadal Bock committee including its block president Rafiq Illahi also condoled the demise of the aunt of Sabiya Qadri and prayed for peace to the departed soul.(KNS)
