NC condoles demise of wife of Ali Asghar Khan

Srinagar, 23 July (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Thursday expressed profound grief over the demise of wife of party leader from Karnah Ali Asghar Khan.

Party President and Vice President while condoling the demise prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in their hour of grief. The duo has in particular expressed unison with the party leader Ali Asghar sahib in his hour of sorrow. Among others Party’s General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, MP Mohammad Akbar Lone, Mir Saifullah, Qaiser Jamsheed Lone have also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal repose to departed and strength to grief stricken family.

Party leader Kafil Ur Rahman has also expressed solidarity with Asghar Ali and prayed for peace to the departed.

Meanwhile Party’s senior leader and Former Minister Sakina Itoo has condoled the demise of noted Scholar and Naat Khawan Ghulam Nabi Shah. “He was a household name, known for his Naat and Mankabat Khawani. He also served last eight years of his life at Dastagir Sahib in Khanyar. A righteous and a pious soul he also contributed a lot in the upkeep of Khanqa Faizpanah at Dooru Shahabad. I pay my earnest tributes to him, and pray to Almighty to bestow upon him highest stations in Jannah. I also express my solidarity with his family, friends and followers," she said.

Party’s Central zone president Ali Muhammad Dar has condoled the demise of Party’s former Sarpanch Mater Ali Muhammad of Wadipura Chadoora. He said the deceased had unwavering faith in the ideals of Sheikh Sahib, and that he strived all his life to make party stronger on grass root level. (KNS)
