Srinagar, October 19 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha today said that aim of launching My Town My Pride programme is to accelerate development in urban areas.
According to KNS correspondent of Baramulla, LG Sinha said, " After successful three phases of Back to Village Programme, We started My town My pride to accelerate the development of urban areas. We have given Rs 1 crore for development of this place and other urban bodies will also get Rs 50 lac. We will try to ensure 100 %saturation of social sector schemes. under this programme ten youth who aspire to become Entrepreneurs will be given financial assistance."
He said this while taking to reporters after inaugurating various developmental programmes in Baramulla today which alos marked the first day of My Town My Pride programme.(KNS)
