Muzafar Beigh seeks impartial enquiry in Shopian encounter

Srinagar, August 18 (KNS): Senior People's Democratic Party leader Muzafar Hussain Beigh seeks impartial enquiry in the alleged killing of three Rajouri boys in Shopian.

Terming the killing of these innocents Murder Most Foul, PDP leader in a statement issued to KNS said, " according to the information received by the reliable sources collected from the aggrived families, one of the youngsters had reached Shopian only a day before along with his brother in law to earn some money to buy books for his schooling."
He called the incident as saddest event and said killed youth are then dubbed as militants for promotions and publicity.

"By this logic almost 100% of Kashmirs and Muslims from Jammu can be branded as militants and eliminated on the pretext of fighting terrorism, how long this resort will continue. I was equally aggrieved when some innocent yatris who has visted Amaranth were killed by some elements," he told KNS.
He added, "The question is not about the religion of the victim, but his innocence," he said.
PDP leader appealed the Chief of army staff to enquire into this incident.
" He should call for fair enquiry . Such operations not only deepen alienation of the majority community of Jammu and Kashmir, but it will also undermine the political moral authority of the rule of India."(KNS)
