Appeals J&K administration to evacuate stranded Kashmiris outside J&K


Srinagar, Apr 24 (KNS): Member Rajya Sabha Fayaz Mir on Friday lambasted on J&K administration for failing to evacuate stranded Kashmiris in parts of country and said the doors of my residences are open for quarantine purpose to stranded Kashmiri’s.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) MP Fayaz Mir said hundreds of laborers,Students  and other traders are stuck outside Jammu and Kashmir but incumbent administration has failed in evacuating them.
“It should be grave concern for us as authorities of other parts of country are evacuating its residents easily but our administration is ignoring their wellbeing and have kept them far away from their families at this juncture which have swelled their miseries”, he said.
He said I am unable to understand why administration is shying away from bringing back stranded Kashmiris to Valley and added if administration wiles of little space at quarantine centers, the doors of my residential houses are open for quarantine purposes.
“I have offered my two residential houses for quarantine purpose to stranded Kashmiris and now government should not shy away from their duties”, he said.

Mir, appealed authorities to evacuate stranded JK residents in views Ramadan.

Besides Mir, several BDC’s and Sarpanches have appealed authorities to utilize their residential houses as quarantine centers and evacuate all Kashmiris stranded outside J&K. (KNS)
