Srinagar, August 13:(KNS) Education is the most powerful means to change this world. Living upto these lines of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Humdard-E-Kupwara Batallion under the aegis of Hajipir Brigade and Vajra Division organised a Motivational cum Educational Tour for the youth of Kupwara to Jammu And Kashmir Light Infantry Regimental Centre in Srinagar. In the times of COVID-19 pandemic when all educational institutions are shut down, Security Forces took the initiative to guide the youth in right direction even in these tough times. During the tour the young minds got an insight into the routine and training conducted at the Centre and saw first-hand for themselves as to what it takes to transform a man into a soldier. They were also acquainted with the rich traditions and heritage of the prestigious Regiment of the Indian Army. During their visit to the various institutes at the Centre they were also informed of the many tales of valour and sacrifice and of the achievers the Regiment is proud to have produced.

This trip was welcomed by the youth bubbling with energy and was appreciated by their parents as well. This trip not just motivated the youth but also given them a perspective in life and also strengthened the everlasting bond between the Awaam and Security Forces. Holding the hands of the youth who are the building blocks of our society and our future will ensure that together we will progress towards a better tommorrow.(KNS)
