More than 94000 cases treated under Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY

Srinagar,Nov 25 (KNS):Financial Commissioner, Health & Medical Education J & K, Atal Dulloo reviewed the implementation of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) with all the Chief Medical Officers and Medical Superintendents, through video conference. Besides all CMOs and MSs, the meeting was also attended by Shri Bhupinder Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, State Health Agency, AB-PMJAY, J & K, Director Health Services Kashmir, Director Health Services Jammu, Principal GMC, Jammu, Principal GMC Srinagar and other officers of State Health Agency. Shri. Dulloo directed all CMOs to ensure that no entitled inpatient is missed out in any empanelled hospital across the Union Territory. Shri. Kumar apprised the chair that more than 94000 cases have been treated in the 229 empanelled hospitals across the Union Territory of J & K.
Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) was launched on 1st December, 2018 in J&K. AB PM-JAY guarantees provision of health insurance cover to the extent of ? 5,00,000 on a family floater and cashless basis through an established network of 23000 health care providers, empanelled under the scheme, across the country to all the 6.02 Lakh Beneficiary Family Units of the Union Territory of J & K.
