KNS,05 May: Mouj Foundation an NGO which is empowering and working for the economically vulnerable families in our Society. Mouj Foundation, (Mouj means Mother) has also initiated to provide ration and other groceries to the poor families of our society during the Pandemic of coronavirus.
Renowed Child specialist Dr. Altaf Hussain, Chairman Mouj Foundation says that “duirng the pandemic we have provided ration including rice, floor, pulses and soap etc”. Dr. Altaf said that we also train girls in tailoring and cutting. The NGO has trained more than ten thousand girls and provided some to them also. “it will help them to feel socially and economically empowered and help them to stand on their own feet”, he added.
Similarly the foundation also arranges marriages for poor and destitute girls with providing bridal suits, hosiery, cosmetics and other needed items. Further the foundation provides Uniform to the needy students and medicines to poor one. In addition the foundation also runs a primary and middle school for the underprivileged kids in Nawab bazaar in Srinagar City.
In a video message Dr. Altaf invited People to join in a noble cause to reach out to the needy and vulnerable sections of the society.
