Srinagar, Jan 09 (KNS): A middle-aged man who was missing from a day was found dead inside the washroom of a Mosque in Sheribhat Zadibal area of central Kashmir's Srinagar district.

Police official who identified the deceased as Abdul Qayoom Khan son of Late Abdul Rehman of Gilli Kadal Zoonimar told Kashmir News Service that the elderly man was missing from last one day. "The family of deceased lodged missing report after which we started searches. However on Saturday morning when people offered Fajr prayers, the mobile of deceased continously started buzzing inside the washroom of a Mosque after which few approached and knocked  the door but found him dead", police offficial said.

A case under relevant sections of law stand registered in PS Zadibal and further prceedings taken up, police official added.
