Srinagar, April 1 (KNS): Government today ordered transfer of Special Secretary Law justice and Parliamentary Affairs Mir Afroz as Director Public Relations.

 An order issued by General Administration Department  Order No.: 291-JK(GAD) of 2021 Dated: 31.03.2021 which lies with KNS reads, " In the interest of administration, Mir Afroz, Special Secretary in the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, is transferred and posted as Director, Public Relations, J&K. The officer shall report to the Principal Secretary to Government, Information Department, who shall assion specific tasks to him. 

Further, the post of Director, Public Relations, New Delhi, is transferred to the Information Department, till further orders." 

Mir has held very important positions in Government in the past.
