Srinagar, Aug 27 (KNS): A meeting of all field officers of Horticulture Department District Srinagar was convened by Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, KAS Director Horticulture Kashmir at Lal Mandi Srinagar, wherein he stressed for promotion of self-employment scheme and strive for doubling the famers income.
He also directed to officers to introduce new varieties in the departmental nurseries to reduce the import of plant material. The officers were directed to work zeal and achieve the allotted targets in full and ensure that funds released by the Directorate are utilized fully.
All the staff assured Director Horticulture that they shall leave no stone unturned in achieving the allotted targets and adhere to the instructions issued from time to time. (KNS)
