Media Association Karnah elects Ishfaq Sayeed as president of new body

Srinagar, May 25 (KNS): The working journalists of border town Karnah in North kashmir Kupwara District on Monday framed their body, Karnah Working Journalist Association (KWJA).
According to reports KWJA, held its maiden elections to choose various potions bearers, a statement said.
As per the statement Senior Correspondent Kashmir Uzma Ishfaq Sayeed was elected as president, Tahir Qadoos Correspondent Kashmir Crown Vice President Zubair Ahmad KNS Correspondent secretary, Waseem Baba spokesperson and Ishfaq Ahmad Lone Treasurer cum office secretary.

The elected body nominated Raja Imran Aftab Ahmad, as executive members.

Vice President of KWJA, Tahir Qadoos hailed the members for holding successful elections.

While talking to media New elected president KWJA Ishfaq Sayeed said “Journalists in Kashmir,work in a very challenging environment and these challenges can be face by supporting and coordinating with each other,” he said, adding that KWJA is bound to highlight issues as they happen without taking sides.

In addition to it, KJWA body also framed Rules for New Membership are as Follows.

A Reporter with More than 2 years of Experience with reputed Organisation allow for KWJA Membership.

A Reporter must be Graduate from any discipline having more than 20 years age.

If any member or KWJA official Found in any illegal activities He/she will be self responsible and dismiss from the organisation without any delay, the statement said (KNS)
