Srinagar, April 12(KNS): Chairman PHD Chamber of Commerce Kashmir Chapter,  MD and CEO Peaks Group, S. Baldev Singh Raina today greeted people of the valley on the holy festival of Baisakhi. 

In his greetings,  Raina said Baisakhi is the celebration of the founding day of the Khalsa Panth is the religious as well as the harvest festival of Sikhs. It is celebrated with great faith and devotion, this festival holds a great significance for the Sikh community as our Tenth Guru laid the foundation of Khalsa Panth as well as Panj Pyaar, he said. .

"We celebrate this festival by taking out processions in the Gurduwaras, Gurbani Kirtan and Shabad vichar  for the Guru Granth Sahib ji to awaken people and ask them to be righteous and true to God. As per Guru Granth Sahib ji " Waqt Vichare so Banda Hoye" and this year Sikh Sangat has celebrated this joyful festival with simplicity by maintaining social distance and avoiding huge gatherings in Gurduwaras considering the threat of current Pandemic and respecting the Health Advisories by Govt. "Staying Home," he added,.
