Uri, July 19 (KNS): Municipal Committee Uri on Sunday carried out massive sanitation drive in several parts of town after six employees from Uri court turned out to be Covid-19 positive.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), anti-virus spray team headed by Bharat Kumar, Chairman MC Uri, carried out a special fumigation drive in court complex Uri, tehsil office, residence of sub-judge Uri, police station Uri and office complex.

During the drive team sprayed anti-Covid-19 chemicals to disinfect the area and sought general public’s cooperation to make lockdown successful while staying indoors.

They appealed people to take extra preventive care measures despite maintaining social distance, using masks and sanitizers. (KNS)
