Ganderbal November 13:(KNS) Sindh Forest Range and Mansbal Forest Have Suffered Massive damage since last one week due continuously forest fire .

Official Sources told KNS, that a massive fire Engulfed in Sindh Forest Range Kangan and Manasbal Range amid continuously dry weather causing extensive damage to flora and fauna.

Sources said that in these six days, the hundreds of green gold trees turned into ashes, while the employees of the forest department are constantly fighting against fire to prevent it from spreading further.

Reports said that the fire is still going on at Many compartments of Sindh forest Range and are spreading to more areas causing a huge damage to green gold.

The source also said that in Mansbal Range's Compartment 8/9 MBL is under fire from last three days, while employees are engaged in fire extinguishers, but they do not have the best equipment due to which they have face a lot of problems during dousing fire.

A source from Forest department said that during winter fire in forest is mostly happned due continuously dry weather and people go to forest for taking coal and then fire is appear due to few sparks present in forest.

Locals have appealed forest officials to take immediately steps to control the wild fire.

They further said that these forest ranges have suffered a massive damage since fire has engulfed.

When contacted Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Ganderbal Mir Owais Ahmad he told KNS, that our employees trying best to prevent the fire from spreading further. (KNS)
