Baramulla December 16 : (KNS) An elderly man was injured after a leopard attacked him in Marispora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday morning.

Local sources told Kashmir News service that a leopard pounced on Mohammad Ramzan Ganie of marispora Tangmarg village,resulting injuries to him.

Soon after the incident he was soon rushed to a nearby hospital for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile the local residents appealed to the Wildlife Department to capture the wild animals present in the area at an earliest in order to prevent any further attack, they further said that from few last days the wild animals were spotted in many villages.(KNS)
